A Great Art style, Creepy weird neighbours. Some are very uncomfortable to be around. Simple but still very interesting. Would definitely recommend this game.
this game is so good, i love the artstyle and its cool how you did the nodding thing but the nodding doesnt really work properly for me. other than that, its a really awsome game
that was amazing! the art style looks pretty good and the dialogues are also so good! neighbors are so characteristic, they feel like real. that was a really fun experience for me

Me to the girl of the floor 1: Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually lived in that apartment before you...Uh, the neighbors here do get a bit quirky at night
I loved this! I really like the artstyle, and playing a game through the eyes of a child was an interesting and new mechanic! I also thought the answering system was really interesting, and helped to contribute to the feeling of being a scared kid with no idea how to talk to scary neighbors.
The kid's dad was murdered by the kid's mum for having an affair with the lady from Level 7. After the dad was murdered, he was chopped into bits and was cooked and disguised as food by the mum. The mum didn't wanted the pieces to go to waste so she tells the kid to give the "leftovers" to the neighbours (probably to hide evidence or something, who knows?) despite the kid being told not to talk to strangers and is armed with limited communication skills. The kid does follow the request with meeting neighbours but with some people foreshadowing what his mother did such as the old guy whose wife was apparently murdered and denied the leftovers and the woman in level 1 who apparently found an eyeball in her meal. The shit happens when the kid finally meets with the woman in Level 7. She contacted the mum about the meal and that Kenneth (the dad) is a very lucky man to have her cook for him everyday but the mum said that he was a very lucky man (either implying he is dead or that they are separated) to which the woman guessing that he finally told her about them (the dad and Laura, the woman from Level 7) but the mum said that is not what she meant and tells her something that made the woman call the mum a psycho bitch (which gives us to a conclusion that the dad was murdered). She then proceeds to turn insane and chases the kid and if she gets the kid while he doesn't move, she will kill the kid for giving the so-called "leftover" (which also gives us to the conclusion that the dad was the meal). When the kid does arrive home, the mum is seen carrying a knife and says that she has "leftover business" to take care of (this likely implies that she will deal with the woman in Level 7 herself by fucking killing her off).
