Its probably because of the browser you are using it did the same thing you have explained for me so i tried using a differnt browser and it started working,try to do the same and see if it works
Absolutely amazing! Loved the weirdness, the objective, and the overall game! Typically, games that I've enjoyed I'd give 4 stars (always room for improvement), but this was great from start to finish!
I don't normally play these types of games but it seemed really interesting and it was! The atmosphere and music were very creepy. I also kind of figured out what the leftovers actually were but the real surprise was that the mum shared my name 0-0
Really had a creepy and uncomfortable feeling playing this game and considering the fact that I grew up on a place where sharing leftovers is a thing makes me ponder the same question "what if this happened irl?" Lol. But had fun playing it and I hope to see and play your future games!!
I really liked the visual style, atmosphere and interesting characters in this game. Had fun playing and my only regret is failing to give the guy with the dog that box of food :´(
Super fun and creepy game! Each character was truly unique and creepy, and I really enjoyed the build-up to what was really going on with mother and her leftovers. Although, I did run into a bug. Near the end of the game, while running away towards home, I ran into the bully who is guarding the stairs and I think I got pushed into the wall and off of the map of the game. It caused me to have to restart the game. It happens around 18:26 in my video.
I've been playing a metric ton of indie horror games lately and this one really stood out to me. It didn't hold my hand, it didn't guide me through a spooky corridor yelling "boo" every 5 seconds and instead give me an interesting narrative experience with more of a slow burning creepiness than any real jump scares.
The game has been very good! the neighbors are somewhat disturbing and the story somewhat confusing but understandable if you get to the end. Good job :D
This game was a lot of fun, had to die a couple of times to get it right but eventually reached the end. I wish I could see what happened after the mom stood by the door, that would be a cool scene, maybe like a fight scene or something. Overall a really good storytelling experience. Felt like an exciting novel to be part of, did anything inspire you to make this, or was this a standalone story from scratch?
Super creepy atmosphere and characters. The writer and art style complimented the story so well and made the game amazing! Loved getting the different endings and learning more about the story. Well done!
I would also appreciate if you could give an opinion on our latest game. Game devs advice is precious because we know better what it takes to make something work. It's called "Backdoor Shifts"
not tryna be downbad or anything but this game wouldve been wayy better with cinematics because they'd be more interesting yk like especially the 6th floor
yk where the lady offers us to rest on the 6th floor? or for example in the end where the mom has some leftover business to take care of with the other woman who tried killing us
Never Have I Ever Played A Game Like This Before...It was so interesting with the dialogue that was coming from the characters . Everyone Was Different no one was the same Each character was unique and had there own quirks and secrets.....Ans the old man Nearly Had me Break down crying on Camera. What A rollercoaster of emotions Thank you for making this game and sharing your brand of story telling with us Great Game Worth playing absolutely.

The controls were pretty bad, but DAMN, the game itself is SUPER creepy!
I wouldn't necessarily say they were bad, clunky and slightly unresponsive without tweaking the camera and DPI? Yes, but not bad bad.
Also, don't forget it was for a Game Jam, which usually run 24-72 hours, and putting out a game THIS good for a Jam is nothing to sneeze at.
