I loved the art direction and building tension, but I really struggled with the controls. I was playing the WebGL version on Windows 10, Firefox, and for some reason, the "interact" just wouldn't register, no matter how many times I clicked or moved the camera. I'd have to minimize the window, then re-open, and the interaction went through and the conversation would continue. Bummer but worth it, this was really creepy!
I liked this game and its atmosphere. Reminds me a bit of Strangers from Hell. I also liked the selection mechanic. This is a small detail, but it gives the impression that you are actually standing there and making a decision. It was also interesting to chat with the NPCs, even though the dialogues are small. And how not to mention the art: only characters and some interactive objects are drawn here, but they are drawn soundly. I liked the animation, it was very clever to use perspective to create living characters. The game is cool, the plot is small, but with meaning. Continue in the same spirit.
This game was so much fun! The different choices and consequences for each neighbor got me hooked—I ended up playing it multiple times, ahahaha! Even though I knew some of the characters were messed up, I couldn't help but be curious about what would've happened if I had said "yes" to certain people...
The only thing that confused me a bit was the old man on Floor 6. What really happened with his wife? I thought he was to blame, but why was our mother being accused? Did our mother have anything to do with it?
Overall, I had a great time playing this game. Keep up the good!
Great Game!!! From what I believe, my theory suggests the following-
THE TIMELINE-
1. Hillary and Kenneth are the two parents of the player.
2. Kenneth may have cheat on Hillary.
3. Hillary kills Kenneth and makes dinner out of him.
4. A room where the woman says "I don't want to sound ungrateful, Its quite slimy. Wait, is that an eyeball!?" *Proceeds to scream afterward*. this justifies point 3.
5. Hillary repeatedly says, "Don't be like your father.", This justifies point 2 where she found out (or Kenneth told her) Kenneth cheated on her. the woman in the end also told us "What do you mean 'was'? Haha, I guess he told you about us." also tells us Kenneth cheated.
CONCLUSION-
You have a psychopathic murderer mom (In game {Hillary})

Go to settings and increase "Camera speed". It's basically cursor sensitivity, thing is, it's default set to low.
Agreed, it is hard to look around. It's still hard to look around when I turn the camera speed all the way up. 👀
Nah, I increase it to nearly 60% and its great. But yeah, this game (really) needs some cursor sensitivity.
